Mr. President...You still Don't Get It

In an interview discussing the huge Democratic losses in the recent mid term elections President Obama said that it was the mishandling of politics and not his policies that saw fellow Dems suffer huge losses nationwide.
He then vowed to make his policies better understood to all Americans.
Um..with all due respect Mr. President the vast majority of Americans understood your policies and that's why they voted the way they did a week and a half ago.
They understood when you jammed a huge spending package down their throats just a few short months into your presidency, they understood your taking over General Motors and the auto industry, they understood when you villified the banking industry and blamed them and them alone for our financial meltdown.
Mr. President they even understood and came out strongly against you and your Democratic cronies in Congress taking over our Healthcare system and in typical liberal arrogance you did it anyway!
The American people are not stupid Mr. President...they understand you policies. They just don't agree with them!
The majority of Americans not only understand your policies but spoke loudly and clearly against them less than two weeks ago.
Winds of change are blowing in America Mr. President and they won't stop blowing until you are blown out of the White House in 2012. Hope and Change...that's what shim sez...

Thank A Veteran

Just a reminder that tomorrow is Veteran's Day. Veterans who served this great country are the reason we have the many freedoms we have today. While we no doubt have our problems we still live in the greatest country in the world. We have veterans to thank for it.
We still have a scant few remaining from WWI and the numbers are rapidly dwindling that risked their lives in the European and Pacific theaters of WWII.
Those along with the proud veterans of Korea, Viet Nam and right up through Iraq and Afghanistan deserve our deepest thanks and praise.
Many of us cross paths with veterans in our daily lives. Whether with a phone call or a friendly wave take time to say thanks tomorrow. They deserve it.
Thank a veteran.....that's what shim sez...

The Job is Not Finished

While the Republican Congressional landslide of this past week is certainly something to cheer and get excited about now is not the time to sit back and bask in the glow of victory. Yes we've taken back the House and closed the gap in the Senate and yes Republican Governors won their share of races this past week but there is still some very important unfinished business to take care of.
While all of the above are certainly reason to celebrate it's now time to focus on 2012. The job of taking our country back will not be complete until we have voted the most liberal, inexperienced, unqualified President in history out of the White House!
Let's make sure 2012 is the year that Barack Obama gets voted out and is allowed to work the talk show circuit on a full time basis. Come to think of it...I'm kinda liking this hope and change thing! Yes...We...Can...And that's what shim sez.
